The Military Advisor Quarterly Magazine for International Militaria Collectors
The Military Advisor Quarterly Magazine for International Militaria Collectors
The Military Advisor
“The Military Advisor” magazine made its debut in 1989 and is now in its 21st year of continuous publication. Although an active collector for over 50 years, I did not become a reader of the “MA” until 1998. During the subsequent 12 years I have found this to be THE premier English language periodical for militaria collectors and for those with a serious interest in military history. Although the Third Reich period of German history is a central theme of the magazine, it features numerous articles on virtually all time periods (from Napoleon to Operation Iraqi Freedom), countries (the U.S., Germany, Russia, Japan, Italy, England, France, et.al.), and fields of collector interest (medals, insignia, uniforms, flags, documents - you name it!). Despite its outstanding quality, I’m constantly amazed to encounter new and long-time collectors/researchers alike who have actually never seen or heard of the “MA” (but then it took me 9 years to “find” it myself!).
To ALL who collect militaria or are intrigued with world military history, I cannot recommend this unique magazine highly enough.

As a long-time reader of “The Military Advisor” magazine I am proud to say that what makes Bender Publication books so good, is carried over into the magazine. Details, photos, and more details on sometimes very obscure subject matter that otherwise is hard to locate. Very little advertising makes it into the magazine and leaves the pages filled with the information we collectors care about. It also helps that the magazine has some of the most striking covers of any publication.
Thank you Bender Publishing for giving me one more thing to collect.
